There are still three slots open for Stitch Lab Sewing Studio‘s Dye, Print, Stitch! with Kat McTee, which starts this Sunday, April 18th at 5pm. In this class “students will use safe, easy fiber-reactive dyes to add rich color to cloth, then print the fabric with “instant”

thermofax silkscreens of original designs. Meanwhile, learn hand embroidery techniques, and finish off your cloth with beautiful stitched embellishment.”

They take only five students per class, and the cost is $120. The course is divided into three four-hour classes: April 18, April 25, May 2. Also on May 2 is a special mother-daughter embroidery class for Mother’s Day that starts at 9am. We’ve been meaning to check out the full summer schedule and enroll before the summer classes fill up, but attention deficit issues have us snooping around everything else on the site, like Leslie’s Sewing Machine Recommendations. Summer is the time to sew, when the heat has us belly up, so let’s put our minds to the schedule and support Stitch.
