Park,
2-4pm… Local writer Joe D. Winter, author of The First Trail
Drive, will be at Bookstop Crossroads to sign his latest, Cow Pasture
Pool: Golf on the Muni Tour, 5-7pm.
* SUN, NOV 26: Mehdi Alavi will be at Bookstop Lincoln Village for a signing of
his book, O God!, 4-6pm. O God! explores dialogue between people
of Jewish and Islamic faiths… Gerald (Graveyard Working) Duff
will be at Book People for a reading of That’s All Right, Mama: The
Unauthorized Life of Elvis’s Twin, 5pm. (See review this page)… Kinky
(God Bless John Wayne) Friedman will be honored at a birthday party at
Barnes & Noble, 5-9pm. Music, munchies, and a belching contest (!) are on
