Through March 8, Hyde Park Theatre will be the site of a wealth of solo
performances by dance artists from Austin, Seattle, and New York City. The
performances are part of Personal Dances, a festival of solo movement from
Margery Segal/NERVE Dance Company and Frontera @ Hyde Park Theatre.
Performances are at 8pm. Tickets are $8 each, with a four-performance pass

The festival also offers two panel discussions featuring participating
artists. Both will be held Saturdays, 4pm at Hyde Park Theatre. They are free,
and a reception follows each discussion.

Mar 1 — “Controversy in Contemporary Perfor mance: Fundamental Value or
Indulgence?”

Mar 8 — “Building the Mountains/Tearing Down the Pyramids: What role does
process play in the making of art? How does the audience perceive that
process?”
