Amphibians & Reptiles in 3-D

The special thing about this book is that the animals in it look like they’re going to jump out at you. There are glasses that come attached to the book cover, and there are twin pictures of one animal on each page, so that when you look through the glasses the two animals look like one and look real. The man who wrote the book must really like amphibians and reptiles. He tried to take pictures of them in their natural habitats. He took very, very cool pictures; they are so colorful and so close. One of my favorites is the blue poison-dart frog; it looks cool because it is such a bright blue. Another cool one is the sharp-nosed frog because it has spots of color. The strangest of them all is the spotted salamander because it is purple with yellow spots. When I look at them, it makes me feel like I’m there in their habitat looking at them.
