Of the numerous homes tours that pervade our core neighborhoods this time of year, for serious students of local architecture the AIA Homes Tour always delivers.

The 28th Annual AIA Austin Homes Tour will take place October 25-26, and will feature eleven homes in Austin with both traditional and contemporary designs, as well as renovation and new construction projects. Tickets are $35 in advance and may be purchased at Zinger Hardware (4001 N. Lamar), Mockingbird Domestics (2151 S. Lamar), or directly from AIA Austin. The tour is a great opportunity to experience some of the best designed homes in Austin, to get personal design inspiration, or just as a fun way to spend a Saturday.
