Big Art Night is watching you

And that means what, exactly?

Because, c’mon, for fuck’s sake, this city has art of one kind or another gushing forth like so much blood from the severed carotid of a raging manticore every single night of the week, right? What makes this so-called ‘Art Night Austin’ on Friday so remarkably special?

Well, listen:

This is the Art Alliance Austin expedition that kicks off the East Austin Studio Tour in chauffered-and-catered style, giving you a chance to preview and purchase works at several venues before the weekend’s vast hordes descend. A series of AAA buses will keep the canny artlovers and cultural sybarites flowing among exhibitions and beveraged snackery and DJ enhancements at Domy Books, Bearded Lady, Co-Lab, Blue Genie, Big Medium, Brocca Gallery, and Fisterra Studio, and the night’s excellent itinerary continues into the oui hours with a Landmarks co-hosted party with David Ellis at Pine Street Station. Register while you still can!
