Your patience has paid off: Broadway sensation Hamilton is finally hitting Austin boards. Well, in 2019, that is.
Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Tony-winning hip-hop musical will anchor the just-announced Texas Performing Arts’ Broadway in Austin 2018-19 season. Season tickets went on sale this morning at 11am; individual tickets will go on sale at a later date. But if you’re hot for Hamilton, know that that will be a very hot ticket and the season pass may be your safest bet. You’ve waited this long – you’re not gonna throw away your shot now, right?
The seven-show season includes the crowd-pleaser Waitress, with music and lyrics by Sara Bareilles (of NBC’s The Sing-Off), and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Phantom of the Opera sequel, Love Never Dies.
