It’s no secret that the Harry Ransom Center‘s holdings are varied, vast, and hugely impressive, and a new related discussion series at Austin’s public libraries highlights just that.
Starting tonight, the Austin Public Library Friends Foundation and the HRC will host book discussion groups that focus on authors featured in the HRC’s current exhibition Culture Unbound: Collecting in the Twenty-First Century. Take a look below for the whole lineup. Book discussions are free and open to the public; Culture Unbound, also free and open to the public, runs through July 31 and features more than 200 items from its collection, from Denis Johnson‘s baby footprints to David Foster Wallace‘s journal scribblings.
