• Congratulations to Stephanie Weiler and Lea Hernandez on being tapped for the anthology 24-Hour Comics Day Highlights 2005, being published by 24-Hour Comics Day organizer About Comics. The two were among some 70 artists who spent April 23 and 24 at Austin Books & Comics – the largest turnout of any comics shop in the country – each trying to write and draw a 24-page story in 24 hours. The 496-page collection featuring their efforts, plus stories by 22 other professional and amateur creators from around the country, will be published in October.
