Mystery/crime author James Crumley passed away this weekend in Missoula, Montana, according to The New York Times. A native Texan whose papers are archived at Texas State’s Southwestern Writers Collection, Crumley is most famous for two separate and enduring book series starring detectives Milo Milodragovitch and C.W. Sughrue.
