Adam Holzman
Adam Holzman is founder of the guitar department at the UT School of Music, where he is currently an associate professor. He has an active performing career, which has taken him throughout Europe, the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and Central and Latin America. From 1992-94, Holzman held the title of “Maestro Extraordinario” given by the Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon, Monterrey, Mexico, where he was artist-in-residence.
“My guitar is a 2000 Millennium model made by Thomas Humphrey. Thomas is one of the world-renowned guitar makers and lives in upstate New York. I purchased the guitar from him this past spring after having played an earlier model of his guitars since 1983.”
