The Austin Critics Table has named the 12th group of individuals to be inducted into the Austin Arts Hall of Fame. As with the previous honorees, these five Austinites have made significant contributions to the community over many years – some as artists, some as educators, some as patrons, some as administrators, some as a combination of these, but all as friends of and advocates for the arts. The 2013 class of inductees includes:

Michael Barnes (Austin American-Statesman, Austin Critics Table) – critic, journalist, advocate

Annette DiMeo Carlozzi (Blanton Museum of Art) – curator, author

Donald Grantham (University of Texas) – composer, educator

Stanley Hall (University of Texas, Austin Ballet Theatre, Austin Civic Ballet) – choreographer, artistic director, company founder, educator

Steve Saugey (Esther’s Follies, Forbidden Classics) – composer, performer, accompanist

The new Hall of Famers will be recognized at the 2012-13 Austin Critics Table Awards ceremony, to be held on Monday, June 3, 7pm, at Cap City Comedy Club, 8120 Research.
