For four ephemeral hours on Saturday, Dec. 11, Wooldridge Park was transformed into a giant sculpture, with man-made bumps, lines, and circles creating fanciful patterns across the greenspace. Austin artists and community volunteers used hay, straw, leaves, and such for the creative transformation, sponsored by the Austin Museum of Art, but it didn’t even last until sundown. By 4pm, the materials were all raked up and the artwork just a memory.
