Join the Austin Chronicle and How About We at Whole Foods Market Domain from 6:30pm-8pm to enjoy happy hour pints while painting and getting to know the artists behind the Big Medium EAST & WEST studio tours. Bring your own canvas (skateboard, sketchpad, etc.) or use recycled materials provided by the store. We'll supply the paint!

Volunteer at the 'Austin Chronicle' Hot Sauce Festival

Fiesta Gardens

What started in 1990 as a small contest with a few spectators has now become the largest hot sauce festival in the world. Admission is free with a donation of three healthy, nonperishable food items or a suggested $5 cash donation to the Capital Area Food Bank of Texas. Are you a true lover of spicy foods? Mother Falcon's Music Lab Session Showcase

The North Door, Imagine an orchestra camp where instead of learning Bach and Mozart, you write your own songs and get to perform them at the end of the week! That's what Mother Falcon has created for young Austinites. Take a young musician in the family to see this session's performance or just go support the latest crop of Austin talent. Noon. All-ages. $5 donation.

French Legation Museum, It's hard to beat a Sunday evening having a picnic on the French Legation lawn watching a flick. The Cinema East summer film series is all-ages, bike and BYOB-friendly. Doors are at 7pm, and the films begin at 9pm every other Sunday. Cinema East has handpicked and curated a "best of the fests" variety, and is a place where all can come to comfortably enjoy premiere independent films without the stress or price of many larger festivals. Long Center for the Performing Arts, The Long Center Presents Dell Hall: Dance Hall, a part of All Summer LONG at the Long Center.
