The Longhorns will play their final regular season home games this weekend: a double-header against Baylor Saturday, April 25, noon and another double-dip Sunday, April 26, noon against Texas Tech.

Then it’s on to the Big 12 Tournament Friday-Sunday, May 1-3 in Oklahoma City. The winner of the tournament is guaranteed a bid to the NCAA Tournament Regionals to be played Friday-Sunday, May 15-17 (at a site yet to be decided).

Considering the Horns’ record, an at-large bid is also possible, even if they are not the conference champs. If they fare well in the regionals, the Longhorns will return to Oklahoma City Thursday-Monday, May 21-25 for the College World Series and a shot at the national title. – L.T.
