Our suspicions were correct: Austin loves pizza! Thousands of votes were cast in the first round of Pie Fighters voting, and we’ve tallied the results to determine our city’s top 10 finalists. But your work here is not done, dear readers. The second and final round of voting to determine Austin’s most favorite pizza starts Thursday, July 2, and runs all the way to midnight July 6. The world is absolutely bonkers right now, but that’s a great reason to kick back and relax after a long day of freedom fighting, and order some carryout or delivery. Take some time to eat through this list of experts; experiment with a new style of crust, maybe get a little wild with those toppings. After all, there’s no better time to support our local restaurants, and if there’s one dish that’s tailor-made for social distancing, it’s pizza.
