Although Austin-based art director extraordinaire Bob Burns died earlier this year, his work lives on in the many horror classics on which he worked. In The Howling, a TV newswoman goes on a therapeutic retreat after a traumatic experience but instead encounters werewolves. Sharp and amusing, the film also features a John Sayles cameo.
