Web gadfly Harry Knowles’ annual birthday bash went off, as far as we can tell, without a hitch this past Saturday. The lucky few who snagged tickets to the sold-out, 24-hour event at the Alamo Drafthouse Downtown were regaled with movies, movies, and more movies, including a couple super-secret new releases, as well as Butcher, Baker, Nightmare Maker. A Q&A with cult star Bo Svenson accompanied the film, in which he informed the audience that he had been sober for only half of Butcher‘s shoot.
