Four for the Weekend

Brangelina is coming to Austin. First came rampant rumors that Angelina Jolie would star in Robert Rodriguez's Sin City 2 (unconfirmed rumors have Rachel Weisz taking her place in the role of Ava Lord). Now Jolie's pic A Mighty Heart, based on Mariane Pearl's account of the kidnapping and beheading of her husband, Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl, is expected to shoot for a few days later this month. Extras and featured performers are sought to play the international press corps, Pakistani hotel and kitchen staff, and news technicians. Mostly men and men of Middle Eastern descent are needed. Send your pix to [email protected]. Oh, and Brad Pitt is a film producer. All of this right when People magazine shuts the doors on its Austin bureau?
