Demonstrators gathered in Austin, at 11th & Congress on Friday, and at City Hall on Saturday, to protest ICE and the killing of Renee Good by ICE agent Jonathan Ross. Organized by Austin Immigrant Rights Action Committee and Students for a Democratic Society, Friday’s event drew approximately 75 attendees. Saturday’s protest was organized by ResistAustin and featured speakers U.S. Rep. Greg Casar and Austin Community College professor Bryan Register.
