Sonic Boom!

While Place 3 is definitely the race to watch, there are other City Council contests. In the Place 1 contest, Chris Riley may have locked up the establishment support, but challenger Roger Chan has developed a robust presence online.

Chan’s social networking presence is probably the most robust of any candidate this cycle; you can find him across MeetUp, Twitter, and Facebook (where we found the crowdsourced art you see on the right). But the real gold is in the series of YouTube videos the campaign has posted. One of our favorites so far has Chan sounding off on “Feminisim, Powerful Women, and Getting Things Done.”

There’s tons more where that came from. It’s the Hustle’s sincere hope that if this Place 1 race doesn’t work out for him, Chan can at least find a home on public access.
