Sweet Limb

Saturday 7, Continental Club

Chris Robinson originally founded his Sweet Limb musical project as an act primarily rooted in lo-fi hip-hop. The 2025-2026 Austin Music Awards nominee for Best R&B dropped two EPs last year, with his November release The Pastel Noise demonstrating an increased focus on alt-R&B. Robinson wraps up a night also featuring performances from Seu Jacinto and the Grackles.

I AM Cricchi

Saturday 7, Haute Spot

Usage of music as therapy is a tried-and-true adage I AM Cricchi lives by. The Maryland transplant often mixes early 2010s pop-friendly instrumentation with rap lyrics championing perseverance and hope for a brighter tomorrow. He dropped four singles last month and pulls double duty this Saturday: He opens for Audic Empire’s free show at Haute Spot before providing support for a RiFF RAFF concert at Brushy Street Commons later in the evening.

Thursday 12, Brushy Street Commons

It’s hard to believe redveil is still just 21, but the DMV-born rapper/producer released his well-received, self-produced effort learn 2 swim on his 18th birthday. His latest album, Sankofa, is a jazzy rap project vividly detailing his journey to this point.
