A countrified parallel to South by Southwest’s city-based festivities, Willie Nelson’s roots music festival returns to the Red Headed Stranger’s Luck, Texas, ranch for its 14th year with performances from local acts and featured SXSW artists.

On the ranch’s unique stages, constructed from Western movie sets, Willie Nelson and Family will make their annual triumphant return, celebrating the outlaw country music that’s influenced countless songwriters in Texas and beyond. Heir apparent Lukas Nelson will perform his own set, following his debut solo album release in June 2025.

Renowned Dallas-raised rock guitarist and songwriter St. Vincent is also among this year’s esteemed guests. Memphis’ Booker T. Jones brings a streak of soul’s legacy to the lineup, and Adrian Quesada’s Trio Asesino blends Latin genres and psychedelia.

SXSW-featured Americana songwriters Dylan LeBlanc, Angela Autumn, Joshua Ray Walker, and Hannah Cohen will venture out into the Hill Country for the Thursday festival. Local artists joining the short trek to the ranch include Aughts rock-funk duo Ghostland Observatory, cumbia up-and-comers the Animeros, and prolific songwriter James McMurtry.

Leading up to the music, Luck Presents will host their annual festival-kickoff benefit meal, Potluck, on Tuesday, March 17. Luck Chef Ambassador Michael Fojtasek, of Olamaie and Maie Day, will craft a locally sourced menu benefitting Farm Aid and Texas Food & Wine Alliance, accompanied by a live performance from Willie Nelson and Family. Following the festival, Luck Presents is also hosting a tribute to late Texas musician Todd Snider on Friday, March 20. Todd Snider Rules! Tribute will gather a lineup of friends and fans to be announced soon. Tickets for both events will be available shortly

As the name suggests, a lucky few will be chosen to attend the main event. Tickets to Luck Reunion are made available through Lucky Draws announced via newsletter or social media. Hopefuls can also score spots in person at the Lucky Draw Live event on Saturday, Feb. 21, at the Yeti Flagship Store, where Joshua Ray Walker will play a free set.
