Local award-winning tequila guru Pepe Zevada is getting an early start on the holiday season by
capitalizing on the local talent with the Z Tequila Rezipe Rumble mixology contest.

Eight finalists will
have their tequila cocktail recipes featured in the inaugural Z Tequila Holiday Rezipe Book and the grand
prize winner will take home $1,000.

The contest is broken into two phases; after certifying a bartending
position in Travis or Williamson county, contestants submit their recipe along with a description and
pictures to Z Tequila’s Facebook app ReZipe Rumble. Facebook votes will determine which eight finalists
move on to the second round- a private party where they will shake it up and duke it out in front of a
panel of judges, including Pepe Zevada himself. The deadline to submit entries online is Aug. 19 with
voting occurring from Aug. 20- Sept. 9. The main event will take place on Sept. 17. Get to mixing!
