The Wooster Group: The B-Side
The show's full name is The B-Side: Negro Folklore From Texas State Prisons: A Record Album Interpretation, and it's an original performance based on an LP of work songs, spirituals, and toasts recorded in 1964 in Texas’ then-segregated prison farms. Presented by Eric Berryman, Jasper McGruder, and Philip Moore of NYC's nigh-on legendary Wooster Group, the production also provides context from the book Wake Up Dead Man: Hard Labor and Southern Blues by Bruce Jackson, the folklorist who recorded the album.Wed.-Sat., Jan. 26-29, 7:30pm. $10-40. -

Zoë Shulman’s 'Neuroplastic' is a series of visionary paintings, drawings, metal prints, and: animations by the Austin-based artist, wielding geometric abstraction to explore the intersections between psychotherapy, psychedelic medicine, and art therapy.
