ATX KIDS CLUB With a focus on urban literacy and local culture, ATX Kids Club inspires campers to experience the rich diversity of Austin by taking daily adventures on Cap Metro. Austin Dog Alliance AUSTIN DOG ALLIANCE Can your little one not get enough of man's best friend? Austin Dog Alliance lets your kid spend the summer in a puppy panic, learning about dogs and dog care alongside the family canine. Classes via Zoom. June 1-Aug. 6. $125. 1321 W. AUSTIN PARKS & RECREATION CAMPS The city is refunding all camp registrants and offering camps of 16-24 kids at 20 locations around town for free. They've pushed their opening date back a month to train staff and prepare facilities to comply with the CDC's COVID-19 guidelines. Registration processes will be released in June. AUSTIN SUNSHINE CAMP is Homemade Sunshine this year – four two-week sessions emphasizing creativity and fun in virtual “cabins” for ages 6-15. Registration is free, and if you live in the Austin area, you can get a craft pack with all of the craft supplies for the session. June 8-Aug. 7. Free. 512/472-8107.
Boys & Girls Clubs of Austin Great Futures BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS OF AUSTIN GREAT FUTURES Boys & Girls Clubs summer camps offer a variety of high-quality programs designed to keep kids learning, active, and engaged throughout the summer. Programs revolve around STEAM, fine arts, academic success, and healthy life skills. ­All Fees will be waived for the month of June and they will be offering shuttle bus service to accommodate members from their other Club locations. Camp Balcones CAMP BALCONES Explore, learn, and grow with Camp Balcones - Camp Fire's Virtual Summer Camp is Austin’s premier urban nature and science day camp that sparks curiosity and inspires learning while preventing summer learning loss. Each week features a nature or science theme in addition to crafts, activities to complete at home, creative expression, and other fun-filled activities. Ages 6-12. CAMP HEADWATERS Get your “passports” ready for a worldwide adventure, as Camp Headwaters takes a journey around the Earth. Steeped in art, natural science, geography, and cultural study, kids will explore the wondrous world in which we live! They will be staying attuned to local trends and mandates. Ages 3-5. Camp Trinity CAMP TRINITY Camp experiences will be virtual with a duration of 60-90 minutes each day. These experiences are less expensive, and while unable to meet in person, the camps are a great way for kids to reconnect with friends and explore their interests, like art or mindfulness. Ages 4-13. Extend-a-Care YMCA EXTEND-A-CARE YMCA Kids have the opportunity to build self-confidence, independence, and creativity, and parents have peace of mind knowing kids are in a safe and enriching place. At Extend-A-Care YMCA day camps, campers make friends while learning the values of diversity and cooperation. Figment Creative Labs FIGMENT CREATIVE LABS Figment Creative Labs make this summer a fun filled and creative one! They've put together some awesome at-home Zoom camps for kids. Take-home supplies and instructions will encourage creative exploration at your kids own pace. GIRLSTART Girlstart is excited to offer their new Summer Camp at Home experience! The health of their camp community continues to be a top priority and Girlstart created Summer Camp at Home for girls to be brave, creative, and curious as they engage in fun, hands-on STEM activities, explore different careers, and get inspired by pioneering women in STEM from wherever they are this summer. Iron Horse Country Ranch IRON HORSE COUNTRY RANCH It’s the motorcycle summer camp for kids. This dirt-bike camp has various shuttle pickup/drop-off locations, and they supply the dirt bikes, safety gear, and training. Just show up! Latinitas Summer Camp LATINITAS SUMMER CAMP Do you have a girl that is curious about STEM, design, civic engagement, or personal and global health? With our online camps, they can learn about fashion and tech, how to make a movie, tips for living a healthy life, and other fun stuff! Austin's original bilingual STEM program for girls! Neuron Garage NEURON GARAGE Campers can join the virtual Neuron Garage community, from any location, for full or half-day programs led by trained guides. Interactive, hands-on engineering challenges with recycled materials allow kids to be creative and discover their potential. Ages 7-12. June 1-July 3. Thinkery Camps THINKERY CAMPS Austin's children's museum offers day camps focusing on math, science, engineering, and nature with an emphasis on fun, which is kinda this place's M.O. In-person camps are canceled for the first two weeks, through June 12, and they will assess beyond that. Meanwhile, they’ve instituted Thinkery Camp at Home: “a pre-packaged camp kit including supplies and instructions (in English and Spanish) for 10 STEAM activities that can be done at home,” including access to their online learning platform. YMCA CAMP TWIN LAKES This is the classic summer camp vibe: swimming, hiking, sports, and making friends. Overnight and day camps all summer long with themes like medieval week and beach week. Art Garage ART GARAGE The Art Garage is passionate about providing a positive environment for kids to explore their creativity. They will be bringing that environment into your homes with their Online Summer Sessions! Supplies are picked up the week prior and items to be fired are dropped off back at the Art Garage the Friday or Saturday after camp is complete for that week. Art+ Academy ART+ ACADEMY Half-day camps balance fun and instruction for young artists seeking to improve their drawing and painting skills. Select from a variety of themed art camps for all ages and interests. They will also be offering virtual summer camps. Ages 5-17. June 10-July 31. $245. Atelier Dojo ATELIER DOJO The professional arts academy was founded by four female artists. These summer classes are online. They are running four remote open studios each week for young, aspiring artists to practice figure drawing, still life drawing, self-portraits, painting fundamentals, and more. Ages 13-18. June 3-7; July 15-19; July 29-Aug. 2. $5 registration fee.
Austin Artery AUSTIN ARTERY Kids are encouraged to nurture their inner artist and express themselves with the help of award-winning instructors. Camps have been moved to an online learning model via Zoom for this summer. Ages 5-11. June 1- July 31. $89.
AUSTIN CREATIVE ART CENTER Unleash your creativity from home in an online art session. They are offering virtual, live classes in real time. Their purpose is to bring the ACAC experience to you at your home. Class size is limited to make sure each student has time with instructors and classmates. Forty minute sessions start at 3pm. CONTEMPORARY AUSTIN ART SCHOOL While they've not yet able to resume on-site classes at the Art School, they've added nearly 100 more live, online classes this summer, beginning between late May and the end of June. Classes for kids, teens, and adults in drawing, painting, ceramics, and more, taught by our wonderful Art School faculty in real time. $99-209. Cordovan Art School CORDOVAN ART SCHOOL From pottery to painting and everything in between, your child is sure to create a masterpiece using a variety of mediums including watercolors, acrylics, colored pencils, graphite, and more. Orpheus Academy of Music ORPHEUS ACADEMY OF MUSIC An enriching experience for children of all ages and abilities in Austin and Cedar Park.  Theatre/Dance Camps

AERIAL CREATION CAMP Courses safely teach kids how to take to the air and dance using harnesses, silks, and more. Courses culminate with a show for parents and friends. They will be teaching small group classes to allow for social distancing and time to clean equipment between students. They will conduct temperature checks at the door, provide hand sanitizer stations around the studio, and encourage everyone to wear a face covering. Ages 8-14. June 3-14 & July 8-19. $250 per week. BE YOU AT DANZVERSITY Danzversity promotes creativity and positivity through dance, online from your home. Students are encouraged to dance to the rhythms of their own heartbeat. Each week has a different theme. Ages 5-11. June 17-July 26. $100-120. 512/520-9119.

FANTASTIC MAGIC CAMP One- and two-week sessions give kids magic instruction from the pros. What could be better to satisfy the bug for trickery and illusion? KidsActing KIDSACTING KidsActing has announced a new online learning platform called kidsActing Connected that has courses for students in all aspects of performing arts from stage and film acting, storytelling, dance, singing, even broadcast journalism. They will be offering online only camps in the month of June with the potential to offer both online and in-person classes in the months of July and August. MONSOON DANCE SUMMER CAMP Each session has a unique theme from Bollywood Stars to Wakanda Warriors, and much more. Their instructors work on cultivating and nurturing student's interests in dance, theatre, language, arts & crafts. Paramount Education Camps PARAMOUNT EDUCATION CAMPS Camps are going digital via Zoom! Kids are invited to partake in one two courses: Camp Paramount and Camp Story Wranglers. Synergy Dance Studio Camps SYNERGY DANCE STUDIO CAMPS The focus will be on getting kids to move to the music, but there will be various art projects for when the feet get tired. Does your kid already know a step ball change from a shuffle ball change? Then one of the studio's intensives might be more their speed. AFF FILM CAMP Austin Film Festival is excited to launch their Virtual Film Camp Classes for the Summer of 2020! Austin Spanish Academy Immersion Camp AUSTIN SPANISH ACADEMY IMMERSION CAMP Drop your kids into an engaging environment where learning Spanish and about other cultures is always enhanced by fun and interactive activities. DEF INCLUDE () A free summer program for middle school and high school girls. def include() was started by high schoolers who saw a disproportionate number of women in their computer science classes and wanted to change that. The program is split up into three virtual events that are 1-2 weeks each: Crash Course on Python, Advanced Concepts in Python, and Machine Learning in Python. The intention of the program is to provide opportunities for women to program together beyond the beginner level, though the program is beginner-friendly. Live the Language Spanish Immersion LIVE THE LANGUAGE SPANISH IMMERSION These online camps are for the beginner to intermediate Spanish speaker. Draw, sing, act, and learn just like other camps, but do it in Spanish. MY CODING PLACE Summer is the perfect time to learn valuable skills at My Coding Place, a hub for topics in tech. Campers will learn about Game Development, Mobile, Web, Robots, Graphics, Keyboarding, and more. Rio Vista Farm Summer Camp RIO VISTA FARM SUMMER CAMP Campers learn the basics of English riding and horse care through hands-on experience. THE NOBELITY PROJECT SUMMER CAMP SAFARI! The Nobelity Project hosts this online summer camp with award-winning conservation partners in East Africa and North America. UT ROBOTICS CAMP With this online camp, you’ll work with exciting technology, build a robot with ROS and Gazebo, and learn about artificial intelligence and its applications. You’ll learn to program with C++, hear from faculty and industry who are inventing the future, and meet other like-minded students who want to change the world one byte at a time. VIRTUAL SPANISH CAMP FOR KIDS Designed to be a positive, relaxed, and high-energy way for students to start learning Spanish or improve on previous knowledge via engaging activities, videos, games, music, art, and culture in an immersion environment. The limit of eight students per session gives students opportunities to participate and practice speaking and listening skills. Students will receive a vocabulary list, homework, and supplementary study resources after each class. Westlake Chinese Academy Chinese Arts and Cooking WESTLAKE CHINESE ACADEMY CHINESE ARTS AND COOKING Providing various online summer programs for beginners and advanced students. Programs aim to improve students' conversational skills. Campers learn arts such as watercolor, calligraphy, paper cutting, origami, and traditional music instruments. Students also learn to cook Chinese dishes such as dumplings, green onion pancakes, sweet & sour barbecue ribs, egg rolls, fried bread sticks, and a lot more. Ages 4-14. June 15- July 31. $129-195. Wicked Workshop Youth Architecture Program WICKED WORKSHOP YOUTH ARCHITECTURE PROGRAM This Virtual Camp provides curriculum based on authentic, reality-based projects that foster independent thinking, self-directed learning, exploration, and creativity. Austin Boxing Babes AUSTIN BOXING BABES This fun-filled camp focuses on boxing fitness, confidence-building, and learning skills useful in self-defense. Campers will practice real boxing techniques with certified instructors. This camp has been adapted for CDC guidelines allowing for social distancing: Workshops are capped at eight participants and will take place outside with heavy bags spaced 10 feet apart. BRANDY PERRYMAN SHOOTING CAMP This four-day basketball camp is designed for youthful players to focus on their shooting skills. A season's worth of practice is crammed into each session. They will have smaller attendance and many more accommodations. They are also offering one-on-one lessons.
