    Texas Early Music Project: Celtic Crossings

    Scottish ballads from the 18th century have been a part of TEMP’s core repertoire since the late Nineties. With musical sources dating from the 16th to 18th centuries, featuring poems by Robert Burns and an exciting roster of other poets, this concert will provide insight into the people who created this very popular and accessible music. With soloists Jenifer Thyssen, Cayla Cardiff, Jenny Houghton, Jeffrey Jones-Ragona, David Lopez, Tim O’Brien, and Ryland Angel. Bonus: Harpist Therese Honey, accompanied by TEMP core players, and featuring kantele player Viktoria Nizhnik from Karelia. Note: BYO haggis.

    The Tiniest Dog Party in Texas: Pawlentine's Edition

    Calling all tiny dogs! This one's for y'all (15 lbs. and under). Lucky Dog Tarot will offer doggie tarot readings, DJ BoyFriend spins, vendors will offer their wares, and you can grab a photo with your li'l loved one at the photo booth. Donations for Austin Humane Society welcome.
