    Baby Bloomers

    A special program for visitors ages 0-3 and their families, providing caregivers and early learners the chance to experience the children's museum together. Thinkery will host two storytimes and free play that support the social, emotional, and cognitive development of the earliest learners.

    Crowe's Nest Farm Fall Fest

    Celebrating 40 years of educating students and families, the farm populated with 250 animals hosts a fest with an owl and hawk show, milking demonstrations, reptile presentations, hayrides, a pumpkin patch, and live music. Children's entertainer Joe McDermott performs Sat., Oct. 21, at noon.
    Oct. 7-29. Sat.-Sun., 10am-5pm. $5-15; kids under 2, free.

    Dougherty presents an inclusive story time with picture books selected to engage young artists, including The Dark, Boo Stew, and Crickwing.

    Kids on Bikes in Parks

    Violet Crown and the Trail Conservancy present a cycling skills clinic for kids ages 5-15 with 1,000 feet of grassy parkland to ride bikes on, open track time with experienced cyclists, and timed laps for kids to test themselves and track progress. They'll have a few loaner bikes on hand for kids without one of their own.
