Before there was World of Warcraft, before there was even a World Wide Web, there was Dungeons & Dragons. Whether you’re a curious newbie or a longtime player, go IRL and find fellow adventurers at this free D&D meetup each Monday at 7, where one-shots, ongoing campaigns, and fun activities will be on the map. Make teatime a family affair at this center of tea culture within Texas. West China Tea began as an importer of specialty Chinese tea, but since 2012 they’ve grown into a community space that teaches traditional tea methods as well as offering both self-serve and hosted tea services. This particular event includes an open play area for kiddos, a “swap basket” where fellow parents can exchange like-new baby items, and a tea service for $15. A delightful night of dance starts with an intro to authentic Argentine tango (no experience or partner needed) with Gustavo Simplis, and continues with two hours of social dancing with DJ G.

This program from the city of Austin, run by Farmshare Austin, has opened new market locations. There are now six weekly markets around town that sell Texas-grown produce, eggs, honey, and other groceries all at reduced prices. Most major cards are accepted at these markets and if you are a SNAP customer, you can also use your Lone Star card and Double Up Food Bucks.
