Last week’s News feature, “Parks, Wildlife, and Racism,” incorrectly identified Maj. Danny Shaw as a captain.

Also, in a story on commercial short-term rentals, “Steam Still Rising From STRs,” Susan Moffat was quoted as saying, “I was horrified by the xenophobic sentiments expressed by some people.” She didn’t say that, did not use the word xenophobic, and does not agree that xenophobia played a part in the debate. The Chronicle regrets the misrepresentation. Both errors have been corrected online.
