Easy Tiger x Vital Farms: Easy Egg Sandwich Debuts

The Easy Egg Sandwich, a breakfast sammich that tastes like sunnyside heaven and satisfies like a whole meal, debuts at all three Easy Tiger locations this day – where it'll be available, in this inaugural day's incarnation, for only five bucks. It marks (in the most delicious way imaginable) the new partnership between the Tiger and the good folks of Vital Farms, who are all about the pasture-raised chickens and the eggs those happy hens produce.Maybe you want to try this sandwich, we suggest, unless … you have something against a fine warm breakfast of scrambled eggs and bacon (or, if you prefer, pastrami) and cheese all piled into an Easy Tiger bun? Full disclosure: We took one bite, and the goodness of it had us reeling with pleasure …Easy Tiger at the Linc, 6406 N. I-35 #1100; Easy Tiger South, 3508 S. Lamar; Easy Tiger East, 1501 E. Seventh.

    Hopdoddy: Bottomless Fries for 4/20

Not that we'd ever *cough, cough* advocate anyone smoking Satan's Perfidious Shrubbery, citizen.Because, as it's well known, we're all a bunch of straitlaced, puritanical, pearl-clutching, joy-oppressors here at the Austin Chronicle. But if you should somehow happen to be a little, what do the freaks call it, stoned? If you happen to inadvertantly wind up a little stoned on this day – or even if you're not, tbh – we can't imagine a better place to be than at any of the Hopdoddy's locations in this city. That's because Hopdoddy is featuring all-you-can-devour, dine-in specials on their verifiably craveworthy fry varieties, including cult favorite parmesan truffle, green chili queso, hot honey and sage sweet potato, BBQ ranch, buffalo, nacho, and handcut Chipperbec fries – all served up with an array of housemade dipping sauces, yes.(We also hear their burgers aren't too shabby, y'know? We – *puff, puff* – OK, fuck it, full disclosure: We love these guys.)

If you have been affected by the impact of Covid-19 or are having a hard time, we would like to make a small portion of your day a little bit better." Or, if you'd like to donate your time in driving, baking treats, or providing cases of nonalcoholic beverages, please reach out to [email protected].
