A couple of everyday objects designed with “the couple” in mind.
First up The Forever Teapot Set for Two designed by Marla Dawn. While past teapot designs from Dawn have featured double spouts, this design is unique for its ability to pour two cups at once. A sweet way to caffienate your lovah.
If you wanna get nasty about it, Pharrell (that’s right, from N*E*R*D), teamed up with Domeau & Peres to create the Perspective chair. I love this design for snarky take on the “leg” of the chair, and for implying sex without explicitly depicting the act. Now, when folks tell you that design doesn’t have a gender you just point them to this chair. The arched front feet (female) and the stable back feet (male) represent, in the words of the designers, “the love between a man and a woman.” Wonder if this chair is a hit with the Yes on 8 crowd?
You don’t have to have an other to enjoy these designs. Just ask Sasha Fierce.
Next time Three Way!
erm maybe not.
