As of this issue, the arts review page known as “Exhibitionism” has gone the way of so much of the theatre, dance, and classical music that was covered on it; that is to say, it now belongs only to history and memory. After seven years, the Chronicle is returning reviews of art exhibitions; symphony and chamber music concerts; stand-up acts and improv shows; and opera, dance, and theatrical productions to the Arts listings, just where they were for the first 16 years of this paper’s existence. Instead of being grouped together on a single page, the various reviews will be spread out by artistic discipline, so you’ll be able to find dance reviews alongside the dance listings, classical music by classical listings, art by art, and so on. Farewell, “Exhibitionism,” parting is such sweet sorrow.
