An actor of amazing stage presence whose characters possess huge inner life no matter what sort of play they inhabit. Willing to try anything new to extend himself as an actor, whether it’s performing nude for the first time as an over-sensitive Alexander the Great in The Possibilities or taking over the role of Stanley Kowalski in A Streetcar Named Desire with just a week’s notice. Forceful and confident onstage, Miller can explode in irrational passion one moment, debate with cold-hearted reason the next, and always there’s something up his sleeve inventive or playful.
