    DAC Call for Drag King Performer

    Dougherty Arts Center is looking for a fab-o and family-friendly drag king to act as walk-around emcee and interviewer for their June 15 Pride celebration, the Razzle Dazzle Upcycle Event and Queer Art Show. Though they hope for a king, drag performers of any gender are welcome to apply and will be considered.

    A Nineties middle-school dance party to shake out all the stress after attacks on trans, intersex, and nonbinary folks from the Texas state government. Expect jams from DJ Boyfriend, live music from Gina Chávez, drag performances from Extragrams, Coco Coquette's wig bar, makeup by Jonathan Krugman, and a panel on good allyship moderated by Rev. Remington Johnson with weightlifter Angel Flores, Black Trans Leadership of Austin's Tabitha Hamilton, intersex activist Alicia Roth-Weigel, and child psychologist Dr. Janie Black.
