Not reviewed at press time. Anne Rice's novel, Christ the Lord: Out of Egypt is the source material for this movie's depiction of young Jesus. Cyrus Nowrasteh's last film was the powerful The Stoning of Soraya M. The Young Messiah was not revealed to press in advance of this Friday's opening.
