Stunt Woman

1996, NR Directed by Ann Hui. Starring Michelle Yeoh, Sammo Hung.

REVIEWED By Marjorie Baumgarten, Wed., Feb. 7, 2001

Part of Dobie's six-week-long series of midnight movies celebrating kung-fu king and queen Chow Yun-Fat and Michelle Yeoh, Stunt Woman is Michelle Yeoh's all the way. The story is divided into three parts. The first details the character's professional life as a stunt woman who rises to become a director, the second part shows her as a woman in love, and the third puts her in the middle of triad activity.
