TXHC For Palestinian Liberation w/ Bosh, Tupaki, Banged Out, the Stuff, Unnecessary Roughness [inside]

Five Texas hardcore bands plot an all-ages show at Mohawk that raises money for the people of Gaza to purchase eSIM cards. Ski mask-donning Bosh both rage and diminish on latest EP AGAINST GOD, where walloping bass and squalling guitar meet slowed-down power chords. Fellow locals Banged Out pull a melodic bait-and-switch on 2023’s Promo, concealing the violence of Leah Miller’s androgynous scream behind a squeaky guitar intro and a quiet, easy-listening interlude. The Stuff, Tupaki, and Unnecessary Roughness round out the bill, which requests a $10 donation. – Carys Anderson
