Black Panther

2018, Rated PG-13, 134 min. Directed by Ryan Coogler. Starring Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong'o, Danai Gurira, Letitia Wright, Martin Freeman, Daniel Kaluuya, Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker, Andy Serkis and Florence Kasumba.

Hard to remember, but in 2018, Marvel couldn’t miss, and Ryan Coogler was just a promising indie director coming off his first studio hit with Creed. Chadwick Boseman – irreplaceable – plays the newly crowned King of Wakanda; Michael B. Jordan – irresistible – is Killmonger, his cousin and challenger for the crown. When you’re talking the very best of the superhero movie canon, this one’s leading the conversation. – Kimberley Jones Read a full review of Black Panther.
