Austin Jewish Film Festival

Much like the name implies, AJFF specializes in films that examine the Jewish experience, in America and around the world. Highlights this year include opening night film, Marcus H. Rosenmüller’s The Keeper, and a premiere party at the Long Center (Sat., Nov. 2); a free screening of Ask Dr. Ruth, Ryan White's doc about Dr. Ruth Westheimer, a Holocaust survivor who became America’s most famous sex therapist; and closing night film, Sameh Zoabi's Tel Aviv on Fire, with co-screenwriter Dan Kleinman in attendance for a Q&A.
