Women’s March
Two days before MLK Day has marchers arrive at HTU, the Women’s March convenes there at 10am to “defend our rights and our future.” When it began in 2017, the first time Donald Trump was inaugurated, the Women’s March made history as the largest single-day protest in the U.S. Here we go again! Although it is called Women’s March, all are welcome to join who “believe that decisions about your body should remain yours; that books belong in libraries, not on bonfires; that health care is a right, not a privilege for the wealthy; if you believe in the power of free speech and protest to sustain democracy; or if you want an economy that works for the people who power it.”
