Marina DeYoe-Pedraza's reverently irreverent ceremony celebrates the feminine and the divine and addresses systemic issues that women experience – in healthcare, sexism, and sex education (or the lack thereof) – the whole vivid production accomplished via object puppetry, readings from historical badass chingonas, and a full Mass service.
