Pure Luck
1991 Directed by Nadia Tass. Starring Martin Short, Danny Glover, Sheila Kelley.
REVIEWED By Marc Savlov, Fri., Aug. 16, 1991
Pure Luck manages to deliver only four decent laughs in its entire 105-minute time. As with many comedies in the last couple of years, you can almost see the great jokes that Those In Charge opted not to go for, and it's too bad; there is, once again, a nifty little film buried in here somewhere, but as per seeming Hollywood requirements, it's been slaughtered in favor of more “mainstream” giggles.
