The New Daughter

2009, PG-13, 123 min. Directed by Luiso Berdejo. Starring Kevin Costner, Ivana Baquero, Gattlin Griffith, Samantha Mathis, Noah Taylor, Erik Palladino.

The New Daughter

Not reviewed at press time. No advance screenings were held for this supernatural thriller in which Costner plays a single dad who moves into a country house with his two daughters. Soon one of them (Baquero, who was so good as the young lead in Pan's Labyrinth) begins acting strangely, and Dad suspects it may have something to do with the mysterious mound at the edge of the forest.
