Extras Sought for Tom Hanks-Produced 'Parkland'

Do you have an “authentic Texan face”? If so, you might want to mosey that face over to an open casting call for Parkland, which will dramatize the day of JFK’s assassination. (Parkland refers to the Dallas hospital where President Kennedy died.) The film is set to shoot in and around Austin in January and February of 2013.
The film will be directed by Peter Landesman (who also wrote the script), is produced by Tom Hanks, and will star Billy Bob Thornton, Paul Giamatti, and Jacki Weaver. Production begins Jan. 14 and runs through Feb. 13. Brock/Allen Casting and Vicky Boone Casting are seeking “real people” for both speaking and nonspeaking roles, and by real people they mean no actors with agents. Among the parts the production is looking to fill – Secret Service and FBI agents, a preacher, and an LBJ lookalike (we know where they can find a dead ringer…). A casting call takes place Sunday, Dec. 16, 11am-5pm, at the Clarion Inn & Suites (2200 S I-35). See below for the casting agents’ exact specifications.
Speaking Roles: Pays $872.00 a day. You must come to the open casting call at the Clarion to be considered for a speaking role. Vicky Boone will be in attendance and meeting with people who she feels are right for thespeaking roles. We are only searching for real people – do not come to the open call if you have an agent. We are looking for the following speaking roles at the open call:
President Lyndon B Johnson (look a like) – Caucasian male age 50-65. Must be 6’3” – 6’6” tall, wide shouldered, and rugged. Should have a traditional Texas feel.
Preacher - Caucasian male age 60+. We would love actual preachers with a TX feel.
Dallas Police & FBI – Caucasian men ages 30 – 55. We would love men with police/military/firefighting experience.

Hospital Personnel – Doctors, Nurses, Orderlies – Caucasian and African American Men and Women 25-55 years old.
Reporters and Journalists – Men 25-55 years old.
Secretaries – Women 25-55 years old.
General Public – Men, Women, and children all ethnicities and ages.
President John F Kennedy (look a like) Caucasian male 45-
50 years old. Approximately 6’0” tall and 175 lbs. Eyes greenish and hair reddish brown. Facial features are more important than hair and eye color.
Governor John Connally (look a like) Caucasian male 45-50 years old. 6’2’’ tall. Eyes hazel and hair gray. Facial features are more important than hair and eye color.
Mrs. Nellie Connally (look a like) Caucasian female 40-45 years old.
Marina Oswald (look a like) Caucasian female 20-25. Russian features. Dark hair and thick dark eyebrows.
