Houston's Brian Ching selected in the MLS expansion draft, and more

Soccer Watch

Houston's Brian Ching was the biggest name selected in last week's MLS expansion draft, as the Montreal Impact become the league's 19th team, joining the Portland Timbers and Vancouver Whitecaps as former Austin Aztex foes now in the big leagues... Amid other postseason roster moves around the MLS, speculation swirls around the champion LA Galaxy and David Beckham, who's done with his five-year contract and may or may not want to extend his stay. If he goes, next up could be Chelsea star Didier Drogba, who wants out of Stamford Bridge, with his agent calling the Galaxy "a possibility"... The European Champions League group stage concludes this Tuesday-Wednesday, Dec. 6-7 (live on FSC, 1:45pm).
