2010 Austin Super Regional

The University of Texas' No. 2 nationally seeded baseball team blew by their competition in last week's regional at Disch-Falk Field to earn the honor of playing in and hosting the 2010 Austin Super Regional vs. the Texas Christian University Horned Frogs in a best-of-three series. All of the games are sold out but can be seen on ESPN2 (Friday) and ESPN (Saturday, and Sunday if necessary), and heard on local radio station 1300AM the Zone. If the Horns are able to take two games from the Horned Frogs, the College World Series at Rosenblatt Stadium in Omaha, Neb., awaits them. This will be the last year the CWS will be played at this historic and beloved venue; here's hoping Augie Garrido and the Horns will be along for the ride.
