The Long, Long Trailer
1954, NR, 103 min.
Directed by Vincente Minnelli, Narrated by , Voices by , Starring Marjorie Main, Kennan Wynn, Lucille Ball, Desi Arnaz.

In this feature-length comedy, Lucy and Desi play caricatures of their TV personas as a newly married couple who drive cross-country to California with their brand new home – a trailer – attached to their bumper. They collect lots of souvenir rocks along the way, but their home becomes too heavy and they must learn to divest themselves of all this “old baggage” before they can really begin life as husband and wife. Slapstick farce or metaphor for marriage? You decide.
