Thanks for all the memories, FF. Oh, the bleary, beery memories.

Fantastic Fest 2009 winds down today, but hey, we'll always have the memories. Well, bleary, beery memories: Thank God we were taking notes. You can read all of our FF coverage at our Screens blog, Picture in Picture (austinchronicle.com/pip), including reports from the red carpet at Gentlemen Broncos (starring Jemaine Clement, right) and Zombieland, where Sony Pictures set up a mobile zombie makeup station and undeaded the crowd – something that didn't seem to faze star Woody Harrelson (left) one lick.

A note to readers: Bold and uncensored, The Austin Chronicle has been Austin’s independent news source for over 40 years, expressing the community’s political and environmental concerns and supporting its active cultural scene. Now more than ever, we need your support to continue supplying Austin with independent, free press. If real news is important to you, please consider making a donation of $5, $10 or whatever you can afford, to help keep our journalism on stands.
