And so it begins. As we went to press, SXSW Film announced that The Lookout – written and directed by Out of Sight screenwriter Scott Frank and starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Isla Fisher, Matthew Goode, and Jeff Daniels – will open the Festival on March 9. The full list of features will be made available on Feb. 6, while shorts will be revealed on Feb. 13. Meanwhile, Interactive has sent word that game designer WIll Wright, Kathy Sierra (Head First, Creating Passionate Users), Deadspin's Will Leitch, MAKE Magazine's Phil Torrone, Limor Fried of Eyebeam OpenLab, and Dan Rather will be interacting in various capacities.
